Dear Sailing Community  

Despite any rumours you may have heard to the contrary, the IYC is healthy and looking forward to next years boating season.  Since the fire of 2004, the IYC has had to face a critical point in its 55-year history. The loss of a clubhouse led to declining membership that impacted the club’s ability to move forward.  Following the fire, the insurance funds were supplemented by a substantial sum of money that was voluntarily raised from the membership. These funds allowed the club to fully rebuild and enhance its “clubhouse and dining area”.
