Roger was a  valued Director and Vice-President of Ontario Sailing.
           
After a courageous battle with cancer,  Roger Shaw passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the age of 61.  Loving friend and husband of Mariann Glynn.  Proud father of David and Mark.  He will be greatly missed by his sister Jennifer Plant, his step-mother Anne Rose and family.  Predeceased by his parents Lucy and Dick Shaw and brother Graeme.  Roger was born in Melbourne Australia and moved to Canada where he graduated with a law degree from Osgoode Hall, Toronto.  A passionate sailor with a quick wit and mind, he enjoyed sailing and racing on his boat, "Southely Buster."  He was an active member of Ashbridge's Bay Yacht Club serving in many roles including Commodore.  His friends and fellow sailors will miss him.  A Celebration of Roger's Life will take place on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 4:30p.m. at Ashbridges Bay Park Road, Toronto.
