Helen Dam returned from Halifax NS where she competed in the Harding Medical Mobility Cup, an international able sail regatta. Despite being the youngest competitor Helen, placed third in the Silver fleet among 19 competitors, receiving The Convoy Cup Medallion for third place in her final race and was chosen out of the 37competitors to receive the Darren Tucker award for Tenacity. Helen has been participating in the fully integrated program at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club Sailing School for the past 5 summers and this summer she completed her silver sail with the race team.
